About Sandra's Professional Background
Sandra received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Governors State University and a Master of Professional Counseling from Olivet Nazarene University. Holding a clinical license in Professional Counseling in Illinois (LCPC). After grad school, she received training to work with complex post-traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD). Training includes NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), Sandtray Therapy, Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault/Crisis Intervention and Counseling Training, and EMDR. Sandra is currently working on receiving advanced training in Somatic Experiencing Training.
Sandra continues to work with survivors of sexual assault and traumatic experiences. She specializes in working with individuals who struggle with attachment, relational and developmental trauma, relationship conflicts, grief & loss, and family of origin issues.
