I’m here to help you start feeling better, understand what is going on, and work on tough thoughts and feelings you’re having trouble with...

 

If you are struggling with stress over peer relationships, anger, shame, guilt, feeling lost or misunderstood, I understand how difficult that can be. You might feel like things are out of your control, and you are not sure what is happening to you. You’ve done so much to hide what is going on and don’t think anyone will understand, and this scares you. It’s hard to talk about what you’re going through, you feel no one will understand, but what you’re experiencing is normal. Talking about it will help you begin to understand what you are going through.  You will have a safe place to talk about what is going on.

Here Are Some of the Things That I Can Help You With:

  • worrying about school

  • having problems with family or friends

  • trying hard to do everything right

  • feeling scared, angry, or sad most of the time

  • feeling bad or ashamed of yourself

  • feeling lost or misunderstood

Even if you are feeling overwhelmed with feelings like these, I can help.  

Know you are not alone...

As your counselor, I can help you find ways to start feeling better, understand what is going on, and help you to work on things that are troubling you.  I’ve worked with teens like you who have gone through many problems.  You are not alone, I will be there with you.  I will let you be yourself and go at your own pace.  I will listen and not make judgments about what you are going through.
